From the Great Wall to the Bloggernacle With Love

Clay Whipkey and I are in China — and visited the Great Wall 2 days ago. As we contemplated what to discuss on top of the wall — there was only one real option.

We hope you enjoy. 🙂 All the best to our long lost friends. We miss you.

  1. Lucky sods!

A windy place, being on top of the Great Wall. Can we stretch that analogy to the Bloggernacle? John Dehlin and Clay Whipkey are so far above the rest of us that the wind drowns out their voices, and we cannot hear their wisdom, but we can tell they are having a good time 🙂

  2. I sense a new feature of Mormon Matters being born. Foreign Corespondents. Seeking out members in all parts of the world and interviewing them!

They were having way too much fun there!

  3. Indeed, a windy place on top of that Great Wall. “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit” (John 3:8). I hope it was a spiritual experience for you both.

Looking forward to having you guys back with us, assuming you aren’t taken by the ghost of Ghengis Khan.

  4. I know how the Great Wall of China is like the Bloggernacle….

    “Its full of wind!” hehehe

LOved it guys…pure cheese but I loved it.
